Wireless Internet.

For the last several years there has been a company which supplied telephone
and tv service to longhaul trucks via hookups in the parking lot. This
company was named PNV and it just recently filed for bankruptcy.

So I'm no longer able to get online.

I'm wondering about wireless. Either two way satellite or radio.

I've heard of something called "Blue Tooth".....I dunno anything about it
other than it might be some kind of terresterial wireless.

Recently a company began selling two way Sat.Com service and units....it's
name is Starband. The deal sounds pretty good for a fixed base installation.

One of the subsidaries of Hughes produces Direct PC which up until recently
was an Asynchronous Link up.....that is....a telephone line was required to
for outgoing data while the incoming was via satellite. It was also rather
expensive. I understand that with the advent of StarBand theyve been
motivated to fix both these defeciencies...

What I need is something like starband for mobile applications....

Is it out there?.....or will it be soon?
