Here, here! This falls into the category of "Intending
To Be Funny, But Unintentionally Seriously Right On", like
last night's Simpson's episode, in which Homer absentmindedly
quips that Bart and Lisa should take a gun if they're going
to be outdoors late at night.
I just heard yet another annoyingly vacuous radio news
anchor uncritically interviewing a California state
power commissar, who was laying a large part of the
blame for the present power crisis on the retail consumer...
for not following the conservation notes sent in PG&E
bills for the last two years!
As if electrical power were not _owned_ by the rate-paying
end user, to do with what he pleases. If I feel like wasting
money at $0.15/KwHr, that's my own damned business.
