Large numbers of people paying for silly uses will
drop the cost of employing the technology for
"serious" applications. Witness computer gaming--which
is THE driving force behind the
faster-pussycat-kill-kill chip speed race.

I'd love to get my

my "silly applications" are what i could use. i
realize that critical
medical usages of technology are first priority. but i
don't have any
medical uses i need. bolstering my skeletal system
would be preventive
medicine, in that regard.

sorry about your vertebra. i prefer powered flight.
almost as
scary(sometimes) and a lot longer range.
