Yeah, I wonder, do things like this shape people's opinions, or are the
producers just feeding them based on an appetite they've developed
elsewhere? Obviously it's a little of both, but which is more significant?
But anyway, my sidenote. During that movie there was a scene where the main
character was a few inches shorter then the person whose genetic identity he
was going to be assuming. They said they'd have to do something about that,
and the main character begins saying "no way..". Later, you see him after
having undergone some kind of operation on his legs. I thought this was more
speculation on the film's part, and I thought it meant he'd had a leg
transplant. But, I read something later about it, it's a real operation.
There is a legal operation which can make you taller by breaking your legs
in several place and letting the bone grow in between the fractures.
