Yes, you've got it right that "free will" is a fiction; just like
phlogiston and vitalism (and "mind" and "consciousness"). Now that we're
grown up enough to recognize and acknowledge that fact, let's also admit
that "relativism" has nothing to do with reality and its adherents. A
strangely limited mechanical thinking imagines that a doomed corpse can
grok the truth beyond the relative. Transitional humans will need to get
over this. The sooner the better.
