Actually, in the latter half of life, a zaftig physique correlates with a
longer life expectancy. Not totally obsese, of course, but chubby. Nobody
knew why last time I read about this.
If naturally slim people have a faster metabolism, they might produce
more free radicals and age faster. We're talking about ad-libitum
feeding, though. CR (if it works in humans) would likely have a
benefit for both chubby and slim people.
