E.SHAUN RUSSEL SAID:"...Situations and people like these are becoming more
and more common, and I
am starting to see them pose a legitimate threat (sic) to transhumanism.
Media
coverage in and of itself is a very important aspect to the progress of
this philosophy, yet in the eyes of the public, associations between
transhumanist issues and technologies with people such as Warwick can, I
believe, cause detriment to our desired progress...."

CYMM ASKS: How? Transhumanism is not exactly the stuff ordinary Godfearing
people eat with their cereal in the morning.

This guy Warwick is probably doing more to "sensitize" the population at
large to what the future offers than even this email list.

The future is as slippery as an eel - its evolution is only rational in
retrospect. I say let all who wish to play the game, play. And the future
will take care of itself. Certainly Homo sapiens can't - we weren't evolved
for that.
