While there are some interesting points in "The Machinery of Freedom," it
falls far short of "The Market for Liberty" by Morris and Linda Tannehill in
terms of fundamental ideas. I think, however, that perhaps it is time that
the field receive a major update. Both those works are about three decades
old, and the internet alone certainly offers some major possibilities that
were not appreciated back then.
