At best we could identify the account from which the post originated,
perhaps even the computer. But it still would not provide courtroom
*proof* of which carbon unit made the post.

Here I am hoist on my own petard, for in the past I have intentionally
had friends and visitors post messages to extropians on my account
under my name, just to demonstrate complete deniability of any post.
Only now do I recognize the folly of doing this. If discovered, the perp
could claim (s)he accidentally left the computer logged on and the
neighborhood kids posted the offending message. That noise you hear
is our case being thrown out of court. {8-[ spike
