An AC-130 Spectre gunship has that capacity, and nearly that loiter
ability (they typically have a 105mm howitzer mounted along with the
dozen or so .50 cal and 20mm cannon, along with the ability to drop
munitions on the enemy, and parachute ammo to ground troops they are
supporting.) The Spectre is one bad-ass aircraft. I has extensive AA
countermeasures but direct gunfire is not something it can avoid.
