The way I was looking at it was that the couples would currently avoid
having unprotected sex. It wasn't clear what the study wanted you to do
after you received your vaccine/placebo.. If the study prompted you to have
unprotected sex, and you turned out to have gotten the placebo, you probably
wouldn't be particularly pleased.
