Variants of this protocol have been common in parapsychology experiments
for more than 30 years, often using an isotope source for QM level
randomness. Dr Helmut Schmidt has published extensively on such work. A
commercial spin-off of the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research group,
called Mindsong, developed a nifty program called ShapeChanger I saw a few
years back when I visited the PEAR lab, and it was going to be sold on ROM.
