I can't say I'm overly impressed with clinical psychology either. "The
part that was new wasn't true, and the part that was true wasn't new."
Clinical psychology and psychiatry can sometimes help the 25% of
patients that could be treated by methods known to any neurologist or
any compassionate person; on this basis, psychologists and psychiatrists
claim the Authority of Medicine and Science with respect to the other
75% of the patients and the whole of humanity.
