I had the impression it was now out there again, but maybe not. If you made
that claim in 1956 you might have been a bit too quick off the mark.
According to one of my first space books (1957, pre-Sputnik, cost a lot of
hard-earned money for a kid even secondhand but god I loved that book):
`The next perihelion passage occurs in 1989, and from 1969 to 2009 Pluto
will not mark the far boundary of the solar system' (THE SPACE ENCYCLOPAEDIA).

Maybe more recent info has corrected this.
