Ron, I dont think the problem is so much spewing radioactive materials,
but rather nuclear rockets are not so great for *peak* thrust, which hasta
be huge for a surface launch. Nuclear propulsion is great for specific
thrust, just not peak thrust. So if you have plenty of time to produce
the delta vee, then a nuke rocket is the ticket. spike
