Well, if it works at the tribal level then is it really
incompatible? Actually I'm playing devils advocate, in my first
post on the subject I mentioned I thought it's fundamental
incompatibility with human nature was it's main flaw. I should have
said the ecomomic apathy that results from handouts was perhaps a
fundamental flaw of human nature.
Still playing DA, I could say that tens of thousands of years of
communism had left your villagers at the level of a stone age
tribe.... ;)
