Develop bacteriophage that recognize the antibiotic resistant mutations.
Administer with the antibiotic that used to work, and it will work again. This
is an environmentally responsible approach because the phage will not propagate
in the "normal" bacterial population. Of course, this is still a form of arms
race, so new phage will always have to be developed, but this is much more of a
software problem than the new antibiotic development problem.
