Possible Historical Asteroid Strike?

According to an article by David Jewitt in the Planetary Report XX no. 3
(page 4, 'Astronomy: Eyes Wide Shut'), the deaths of some 10,000 chinese in
1490 were blamed on 'falling rocks'. the author speculates that this could
be the results of the impact of a small (relative to the 65 Ma 'Dinosaur
Killer' 10 km-diameter rock), throrougly fragmented rock.

I picked this up off the ITSF list. So it seems that there have been more deaths
than just the unknown number from the Tunguska, and the Ohio strike in the
1800's. Amara, do you have this article online anywhere?
