In my opinion, that's personal, but my opinion on this is irrelevant.

Zero has been suggesting a possibility, the transparent society. I fail to
see why he should be under any obligation to already live up to the
requirements for such a system in order to suggest it - especially when the
system in question absolutely depends on simultaneous surrender of
information by everyone.

Harvey isn't under any responsibility to act as policeman for the rules
of this list. He responded to one instance of behaviour which he
believed was inappropriate and has no obligation to repeat this for the
rest. He's not consistently applying a standard (on an open, high
traffic mailing list), but he's certainly not applying a double one.

If you felt Zero has behaved wrongly in the past and this concerned you,
perhaps you should have given a similar warning.
