Well, hunting of course. .44 magnum and .454 Casull revolvers are
getting quite popular for deer hunting, I'm thinking of getting one
myself, the Ruger Redhawk and Super Redhawk are both quite popular and
tough guns in these calibers. I already have a Navy Arms muzzle loading
percussion revolver in .44 round ball that I'm going to try out this
fall.

Then there's the niche for powerful compact personal defense guns, like
the NA Arms Mini-revolver, and S&W and Taurus both make a really sweet
AirLite snubnose revolver in .38 Special and .357 that you can get
either with an aluminum frame or a titanium frame. They are light as a
feather and fit right in your pocket, or under a ladies skirt, just
fine, and they are light enough so that they don't make a pattern
weighting down your pocket. These sort of guns are great for warm
weather clothing or tight clothing, where you don't have a lot of room
to conceal something, no jacket, etc.
