Seems like the same camera that nailed you for running a red
light at a deserted intersection could also document the fact
that is *was* desolate, therefore, no crime. Or, you could
have your own camera to document the emptiness of the
intersection you blew. The presence of cameras *really
does* require the restructuring of our law system.

On a slightly lighter note, I have noticed how kids dont
drag race anymore. Mike, I am a few years older
than you, so I recall drag real racing. {8-] Since kids
dont drag, people now make a habit of running red lights,
a habit that never presented itself back in the days when
running a red light *could* result in being T-boned by
two roaring hotrods.

Oh, I suppose modern teenagers *think* they are
drag racing. They do so in Honda Civics, the only
actual mechanical modification being a "Fear This"
sticker in the back window. But you would not
know they were drag racing by looking at them.
They merely form a moving roadblock to those
behind them in actual automobiles. {8^D So now
the red light runners have plenty of time to clear
the intersection before the screaming 1.5 liter engines
manage to produce a dozen ponies... spike
