The May-June 2000 [88(3)] issue of _American Scientist_ (not to be confused
with _Scientific American_:) has an interesting article in it on
nanotechology: "Biomolecules and Nanotechnology" by David S. Goodsell.
The miniabstract reads:
"Evolution has forced innovative solutions to biomolecular problems. Some
may inform the growing field of nanotechnology."
Not exactly news to this crowd, but it's growing proof of nanotech becoming
more and more mainstream.
_American Scientist_ has a web site at:
http://www.amsci.org/amsci/amsci.html (The issue is not yet listed there,
but there are many older articles in toto there, as well as tables of
contents for previous issues.)
It retails for $3.95 where you can find it in the US -- a bargain if you ask
me.
Cheers!
