Indeed. The Royal Australian Air Force hired Toffler Associates to run a
similar study in Oz:

but this site refers to 1999 as the future, so either it hasn't been
updated or I'm looking at the wrong url.

I was interviewed about the Singularity. As far as I can tell in a quick
glance through the RAAF site, my views have been dismissed or disappeared.
