You know what? I haven't had to read one word of this debate. Not one
solitary phrase.
You know how? I didn't even use a killfile. I just read the subject
lines, used my good sense, and skipped what I wasn't interested in.
That's my normal mode of operation on this list, and it's served me well
for years now.
As I've said before, it requires a fundamental belief in your own
importance relative to others' to think that just because YOU'RE not
interested in what somebody's talking about, they shouldn't be discussing
it.
But even if MOST people don't want to hear about something, who wants to
hear you shout "SHUT UP!!!"? Who cares that you don't care? The debaters
don't, I don't, nobody reading does. Ettiquette begins at home.
If you don't care about it, then you can ignore it. You've got a brain.
You know how.
