I think perhaps one of the problems with "programming"
an AI may be based on trying to figure out how humans
think... the brain is a vast and complex thing... and
I don't remember anyone ever teaching me *how* to
think... perhaps, unbeknownst to most, there are six
billion undiscovered (except by their ardent
programmers) computer laguages out their, and the AI
community is trying to learn them as if they were one
single thing....
speaking of AI, and many other things, I've been
trying to think up a career to actually pursue... I'm
thinking something in the range of computer sciences,
but I'm also heavily into writing, biology, and the
arts. It almost leads me to the idea of video game
design... what a strange world it would be if the
first AI evolved as somebody's nth-generation version
of everquest or somesuch:)
