Hmm. It would appear that this thread has exceeded its useful lifespan. I
don't think there is any point in trading this kind of remark back and forth
for the next week, so I'll just stop here.

However, I am curious as to whether the list is interested in seeing a full
explanation of my camp's position. I think I could do a decent summary in a
few pages, and it might make a good reference point for further discussion.
However, there wouldn't be any point if Eugene and I are the only ones who
read it - it is pretty obvious we aren't going to change each other's minds
about anything.

So, is there anyone who would be interested?
