Ja. Zubrin makes it clear that all the stuff he is proposing is based on *current*

technology. His case is that we have everything we need to make the Mars base
happen, right now. All we need is the collective will to make it go. I found not
one single thing in his proposal that relies on future tech, in fact most all the
technologies he calls out in "Case for Mars" has been around for decades. spike
