No. There were other manufacturers beside Dow. My firm defended one. Once
we had the science on our side we won every case that got close to the
courthouse. The cases got dropped when the courts started screening junk
science.

BTW, silicone is EXTREMELY common in other medical devices and there were
never any complaints about them.
