The NSA has been tapped into the Internet since day one...

Under the so called Digital telephony act, remote access directly
to telephone company switches was mandated (and exists).

The current push to be able to geographically locate cellphone
users, (under construction) while being portrayed as a 911 measure
is actually being driven by the Feds.

The Russians are behind in this, we are far more advanced in
denying privacy. (Sarcasm)
