I once opened a PR mailout from one of my publishers and found my latest
novel described by a fluffy brainless publicist as `verbose', which I'm
pretty sure she supposed was a compliment.
It's true that sometimes I run off at the mouth, but I believe she meant
something like `verbally complex' or `writes dense, compressed paragraphs
using an exact but sometimes non-colloquial lexicon' - as does Robert Owen.
