Fyi, routinely 30-32 deg C core temperature are used in human surgery
(27 deg C is extreme). The lowest core temperature in a drowned child
is ~12-14. Dogs "on the rocks" are 2-4 deg C (4 h ~100% survival rate).

(Don't try this at home, kids).
