Atheism as a concept greatly antedates the Communists, and has
continued in its non-Communist versions throughout. Marx et al.
tried to sneak a lot of bizarre baggage under some obvious
atheist truisms but that had nothing to do with atheism. I don't
know anybody who thinks atheists are even often Communists.
