Yes, that was my point. I don't see them writing to the newspapers
denouncing each other for it.
In other words: it might not be *warped social mores* that insist on us
wearing pants around each other (those who do, that is); it might, like
those other things I mentioned, be a side-consequence of human
consciousness and the complex changes it produces in both the world and
the animal gifted with it.
