I read the full text of the idea, as I'm on Greg Ahorian's "Patnews" email
list. It's clever, and it would be nice to see gatherers of crappy
technology patents get their just desserts, but wouldn't this scheme run
afoul of the SEC? I could be wrong, but it seems to me a pretty clear
instance of what regulators would see as stock manipulation. If there's
anyone on the list with special knowledge of securities regulations, I'd
like to hear your thoughts.
