 On a personal note:

    You have perfectly described the intense agony of authorship. Why not
many people have the guts or the insanity (whichever way you want to look at
it) to pursue the arts as a full time job.

     On the ( thankfully very few) days when I get up, and my paintings are
nothing more than oily molecules smeared on canvas, then life seems not worth
living...
