I am curious about the current status, actually, about freezing (and
reanimating) human unfertilized eggs. When I asked here on this list
about 6 years ago, the status was that it was not possible yet.
The egg cells were prone to cracking and the process didn't work well.
Sure, embryos are frozen successfully, but there are a lot of women
in the world who would probably pay well to have a younger version of
their eggs preserved for a future time when they are more willing,
and in a better position in their lives, to have children.

P.S. I remember reading someplace in the last few years that unfertilized
animal eggs were successfully frozen (which animal, I don't remember).
