Like most things, it is probably a mixed bag. Up to 2 drinks per day
seems to be ok. More is probably bad for your liver and brain, but
might be good for your heart and arteries. There is some indication
that alcohol may short-ciruit the formation of Advanced-Glycosylation-
Endproducts (AGE) molecules which is one of the forms molecular
aging. I'm not sure but Doug may have posted a recent abstract
on this work (or else I saw it in one of the numerous journals
I peruse).
