Beats me. But if that is the case I'd expect the people on the
list to be some of the first to recognize it and warn the rest
of us. At least that might give a fighting chance to paddle
back upstream before the black hole swallows us. And yes,
I know there are those of you on the list who probably think
this is wishful thinking...
While in the past, some have discussed surfing the wave, I'd
prefer riding a bobsled or hydro racing. You have a distinct
illusion of managing the ride but in your mind you aren't fooling
anybody. If you lose control, it is *really* going to hurt.
