Hepatitis B

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have had Hepatitis B vaccination
but I have students who have not been vaccinated. We have tissue specimens
from people with Hep B and we are going to extract RNA/DNA/protein by Trizol
and high molecular weight DNA by TES/salting out method. At what stage is
the virus inactivated and hence the samples can be safely used by the
students?
