A mutant of lambda produces smaller plaques than the wildtyp one.But the number of plaques are still the same! what could be the reason for this phentotype? ...Could it be that lambda does not bind very good on the rezeptor of bacteria cell surface. ... or that the Rna-polymerase doesnt bind on the P(L) P(R) region? ---
