Minimal volume of CSF needed for inoculation of cell culture

Dear sir/madam,

(1) Do you have any reference for the amount of cerebrospinal fluid inoculated to viral cell culture without causing toxicity to the cell line? In addition, should the CSF be undiluted prior to inoculation?
(2) Any guideline for the number of freeze-and thraw cycle needed for blind passage of cell culture?
