Serine strings in envelope protein

I am studiying PRRSV ORF5 product and it seems that there is a string of
3-5 serine residues that are related to antigenicity.  I have found a
lot of information on phosphorilation of serines in enzymes but nothing
in the relevance of serine strings.

On a different subject, is there any server that predicts signal
tranduction segment of membrane proteins?
