Which microbe is this?

WHAT CHARACTERISTICS DOES THIS MICROBE HAVE??


1.	Passes through filter with average pore diam  of 2.7 micron


2.	May be preserved in 50% glycerine or milk for several months


3.	Transmisssion only possible if strict anaerobic conditions 
maintained UNLESS filtrate is first saprophytized whereafter it may 
be kept in aerobic conditions and successfully transmitted


I'm writing an essay at the moment and I need to cogitate *very* 
carefully over the above three points.  Point one doesn't preclude 
the possibility of the microbe being a virus but I think point 3 
certainly does.  

But my question to all you learned microbiologist is:  what else 
might be suggested by the facts.  My feeling is that the info is 
suggestive of a fairly narrow range of bacteria but as microbiology 
is not my first subject, I'd appreciate any thoughts (or even 
guessses w/wo probabilities).
