Postdoctoral position
to study immune response against herpesvirus.

We study the immune response against herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) and
pseudorabies virus using in vivo (J. Virol. 73:4748) or in vitro dendritic
cell systems (Eur. J. Immunol. 29:3245). Replication competent virus (J.
Virol. 73:4748) or a novel DNA vaccination approach based on the entire
HSV-1 genome deliverd as bacterial artificial chromosome (PNAS, 96: 12697)
are used for immune-stimulation.
Begin:  January 2000; for one year with the possibility for extension .
Salary:  Based on the regulation of the Swiss National Science Foundation.
