San Francisco Symposium 97:Translation and Stability of mRNA will be
held Oct. 12-14, 1997 at the San Francisco Airport Hilton Hotel. The
meeting is being organized by Joe Harford, Michael Katze, and James
Larrick. A similar, highly successful meeting was held in 1995.
The speakers for SF97 will include:
Joel Belasco, Tom Dever, Tom Donahue, Gideon Dreyfus, Ellie Ehrenfeld,
Stanley Fields, Elizabeth Goodwin, Mathias Hentze, Allan Jacobson,
Michael Katze, Jack Keene, Ruth Lehmann, Lynne Maquat, William
Merrick, Joel Richter, Jeff Ross, Alan Sachs, Daniel Schoenberg,
Robert Singer, and Nahum Sonenberg.
The Keynote Lecture will be given by Paul Schimmel.
Opportunity will be provided for poster presentations by other
participants.
