Dear Pascale

It is indeed possible to make HPV virions or virus-like-particles.  Look
up papers by Ian Frazer and Jian Zhou (Virology 185, 251, 1991) who
first descibed it.  There was an article in one of the latest
BioTechniques describing how to do it.
