We are looking for a reliable method to purify HSV-1 virions. Although
we tried density centrifugation using Ficoll-400 we could not obtain
banded virions. The suspicion is that the paramters from the
literature or the calculation for our Beckman centrifuge are not
correct. We would greatly appreciate any hint etc.
