The  following is the article I tried to post last night.  The website 
belongs to a USC researcher who is doing research on a vaccine 
contaminant similar to human CMV.

Title: Michener Centre Chronic Fatigue link suspected

	Cases of chronic fatigue at Michener Centre could be linked to a 
vaccine given to workers, a former employee says.
	An article published in July in the Journal of Clinical and 
Diagnostic Virology suggests symptoms of extreme fatique in humans could 
be linked to a virus carried by the African Green Monkey.
	A doctor at the University of Southern California found a virus 
from a patient with chronic fatigue syndrome that had DNA extremely close 
to a virus originating in green monkeys.
	Kidney cells from those monkeys have been used for years to make 
live polio vaccines -- such as the ones given in Red Deer until this 
year, said Dr. David Allison of the David Thompason Health Region.
	Marjorie Murphy, a former nurse at the provincial facility for 
the mentally handicapped, said Michener Centre workers had to keep up 
their immunity against polio and other diseases.
	Murphy, who has been off work repeatedly since 1990 with chronic 
fatigue-like illness believes the new research could be an important clue 
in the 23 chronic fatigue cases among centre employees.  Allison said the 
new research isn't likely to be conclusive.
