Fellow virologists(?),

The Bionet.Virology newsgroup has degenerated.
It is sad byproduct of affluence that necessity
is forgotten. Too many are preoccupied with the 
unnecessary.
Although it is contrary to basic Internet values,
I advocate moderation of this newsgroup.
