HSV and pregnancy - update

Thank all of you who responded to my post about the outbreak above my 
eye.  I consulted my OB and my "infectious disease" doctor.  Len, your 
information and reassurance was indeed confirmed by my OB.  I did not 
take the oral acyclovir, and the cream is controlling it just fine.  
The infection's still not gone completely, but it's on the way out.  I'm 
confident that it has no effect on the baby, and won't spend the next 6 
months worrying.
